Future Footprints Family Centre is a provincially designated early childhood development center located in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. Established with the mission to provide accessible and family-centered early childhood education, we follow the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework for Early Learning and Child Care.
To provide services that are easily accessible to all families. With a family-centered approach, we will enhance strengths and foster a strong community connection so children will learn and grow into healthy, energetic individuals who will be eager and ready to enter elementary school.
OUR Mission
To promote, encourage, and support families with children aged 2-12 years through the establishment of one community centre.
OUR VISION
Future Footprints Family Centre began its journey in 2008 when the provincial government proposed a grant to create Early Childhood Development Centres across New Brunswick. Although Perth was not awarded the grant, the Margaret Wallace and McCain Family Foundation provided a $5,000 seed fund. With the community's support, Andover Elementary School agreed to house the center, transforming existing spaces to accommodate our needs.
We officially opened our doors on January 9th, 2012. Despite the challenges of a flood in March 2012, we relocated temporarily and reopened in the renovated space by September 2012. Over the years, we have expanded our facilities to include dedicated preschool and after-school programs, continually growing to meet the community's needs.
In April 2019, we were proud to be designated as an Early Childhood Centre, a testament to our commitment to quality education and community involvement.
